These rustic winter tree earrings are made from copper clay pressed into hand-etched linoleum. The clay is dried, sanded, and then fired in a high-temperature kiln. The organic binders in the clay burn off. What is left is copper! The edges of the rectangles have been pounded for texture. The earrings have been oxidized and then lightly brushed and burnished to reveal the details. The ear wires are hand-made from sterling silver - including a little copper coil.
The earrings measure 1 5/8 inches from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the rectangle.
